Czech Casting Stands Trial Over Sex Trafficking
Czech Casting is a legendary Czech adult studio delivering real amateur porn videos from a white couch to the entire world. What seemed to be a perfect concept, and what worked for years, have quickly become a nightmare. Not only for the producers, but unfortunately also for the girls appearing in the sex scenes. Hundreds of amateur models came to the interview with the hope of a better future. For some, the dream came true. For others, who didn’t know it’s all about porn, the dream quickly faded away. And now, several staff members have been charged with sex trafficking. And we bring a closer look at the entire case.
What is Czech Casting?
Czech Casting a Czech pornographic project that was presented as a series of casting interviews to the audience. The typical video from this series begins with an interview in the Czech language (with English subtitles), followed by the actual sex scene. The entire series uses a popular motif and visual style of a casting environment, and it is often associated with an iconic white couch, as well as the numerical designation of individual performers.
The Czech Casting series quickly gained international attention due to its captivating concept, which distinguished it from ordinary amateur productions. Yes, the viewers loved it. However, the whole project later became the subject of extensive criminal investigation and public debate. Although several models had been abused and mistreated and testified to very disturbing stories during the investigation, at the same time, some performers did not see the project as a negative experience, and it was the start of their professional pornographic career.
Who are the girls for whom Czech Casting meant a successful entry into the porn industry? For example, under the name Dominika 7723, a girl who is now known to porn fans under the stage name Alexis Crystal appeared on camera. Others include Lady Dee, who is identified in the series as Drahomira 2090, and also pornstar Blanche Bradburry, listed as Beata 7913. Although we can essentially say that the official Czech Casting website was not available in the Czech Republic, it was still possible to access it, for example, via VPN, a foreign IP or find it partially reshared on some porn sites.
Czech Casting Controversies
The Czech Casting case has become one of the most widely publicized cases in recent years. A multi-year investigation uncovered questionable recruitment practices that were based on manipulation, promises of regular commercial photo shoots, and subsequent psychological pressure. It was an elaborate system based on abuse of trust and the lack of necessary controls in this industry. The Netlook company, headed by the accused Martin S., is one of the major players in the Czech porn industry and operates several projects, with Czech Casting being only one of them.
How did it all start? Between 2016 and 2019, an organized group advertised photo modeling opportunities for women over 18. In reality, these offers served as a cover for the production of pornographic content, and many of the women who arrived at the casting were unaware of this. It all began with an enticing ad promising good money for a regular modeling photoshoot. Selected women would arrive at a professional-looking location where they would be presented with a multi-page contract full of legal terms. The alleged manipulation reportedly relied on a gradual, step-by-step process aimed at obtaining additional consent for pornographic filming, slowly increasing pressure, and creating a sense of a hopeless situation. In some cases, women signed contracts in haste and were later told by representatives of the casting company that refusing to continue with pornographic shoots could result in a contractual penalty of CZK 200,000. In some cases, there were even threats of physical violence.
But the trauma did not end when the women left the set. For many of them, the real nightmare began after discovering that footage of their casting had been published online and widely shared. As a result, they faced stigmatization, some of them lost their relationships and jobs, and some even had to move to another city.
The first police intervention took place in July 2020. Ten people were arrested, nine of whom were charged with human trafficking, sexual coercion, and, in some cases, rape. Shortly after, the first anonymous statements from women to the police and the media began to appear. Later, after the media covered the entire case, several courageous women decided to speak publicly about their experiences. One of the victims even gave a detailed interview, in which she described her story, from naive ideas about a modeling career to the traumatic experience of filming.
Investigation & Charges
Let’s take a look at the entire course of the investigation into the Czech Casting case. After the initial arrests and charges against the individuals involved in 2020, the investigation continued for several years.
All the defendants were released, and the case continued with them being prosecuted outside custody. In 2021–2024, the media reported less about the case, but investigators did not idle. Thousands of videos, contracts, and women’s statements were analyzed. Unpublicized testimonies were increasing.
Finally, in 2025, the police conclude the investigation and the NCOZ (National Centre Against Organized Crime) hands over the file to the state prosecutor’s office and proposes to indict nine people for human trafficking and, in some cases, non-consensual sex act. June 28, 2026, is the day when the official indictment was filed, and the case went to court. What happens next?
