What is MyFreeCams:

Founded in 2004, MyFreeCams (also known as MFC) quickly became one of the biggest webcam sites in the world. Right now, it is under top3 adult webcam sites with over 80m+ monthly visitors. MyFreeCams won XBIZ Award for Live Cam Site of the Year in 2011, 2012, and 2013. They also have a huge base of models and registered users.

Design and usability:

To be honest, I really don’t like their design, it reminds me of ICQ age. Every nickname has a different color, font style, etc. I am a fan of clean design, so this isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe you would like it, just try it, and you will see :) There is quite complex (and challenging) model list settings where you can customize your homepage. That’s a pretty good function, though. You can click on tags in the right sidebar, it will open a new window with a list of tags - which is the only way to filter models I think. The chatrooms thumbnails are profile picture without live preview on hoover, that’s something I miss.

Mobile version:

The mobile version of MyFreeCams is pretty the same as a desktop version in terms of styles. But I have to say that it looks better on mobile. The bad thing is that the site loads a bit longer on mobile. Maybe because it still uses flash instead of an HTML player. But it should change soon as browsers won’t support flash from Dec 2020. Chatroom with video player doesn’t look pretty because it isn’t full with or fullscreen, but it is still good enough for using it in a way it should - looking at naked girls.

Webcam quality:

The quality of the stream is good enough. I’ve gone through some girls with lower webcam resolution, but most of them have good webcams, so the resolution is good. Although it is a little bit laggy sometimes.

Webcam girls:

At the time of this review, there are over 1700 models online, which is lots of girls to choose from. And there are lots of really pretty girls. Another advantage of MyFreeCams is that lots of their girls are American. It is not common on cam sites where are often a large number of models from Romania and similar European countries.

Final words:

To be honest, there are better webcam sites out there. But MyFreeCams has lots of models online and lots of users, so when you browse a little, you will definitely find your crush. Mobile version is not the top in the industry, but better than no mobile version. Overall the design is a bit old school, but that is something some people might see appealing.
