What is Stripchat:

Started in 2018, Stripchat is one of the new webcam sites out there. With around 50m monthly visitors, it’s not a small site anymore.

Design and usability:

At first sight, you can see their dark mode design, which is practical and not so common in the industry. Easy header with just profile login/signup and link to best models of the month. Under the header, there is gender picker - you can choose from girls, couples, boys, and trans. One of the best features is filtering options in the left sidebar, which contains filtering by age, ethnicity, body type, hair, and so on. Thumbnails are the last screenshot from the show so you can see what actually is in the room - means no profile photos thumbnails. It would be even better with live previews, but this solution has its pros, and that’s site speed.

Mobile version:

The mobile version looks less clean than desktop one, but it’s not that bad, actually. On the desktop version, you have filters in the sidebar, on the mobile version, filters moved under header next to gender selection. I think it’s easy to use, and you can filter the same way as on a desktop. When you enter the chatroom, you may be surprised by a number of functionalities. There is a menu above the player, approx 4 clickable elements in the player, left side menu next to text chat, and another menu in hamburger style right under the player. Although it seems pretty difficult at first sight, you will get in love with it when you learn to use it right. After a few minutes, I got a pretty good sense of what I can use and where to find it. And it’s really good!

Oh, and one interesting thing I didn’t see anywhere else (or at least they don’t promote it much) - and that’s VR live shows! You should definitely try it if you have some VR headset.

Webcam quality:

Webcam quality is really good, and I didn’t find any problems here. As on any other webcam site, you can find a girl with a slow internet connection or bad video quality, but I didn’t find any.

Webcam girls:

There were 2320 models live at the time of this review. So you can be sure you will find what you’re looking for in this number of live models. And it doesn’t matter if you look for girls, boys, couples or trans.

Final words:

This site is quite new, but they definitely started with a big vision in front of them. Thousands of amateurs are streaming live on their platform, and their whole website is really well made. It’s a pleasure to see that some companies are giving lots of work into the user experience. Just try it, try VR, try their filtering options, and you can’t be disappointed. I swear!
